@nichegamer So this is what they've been working on instead of the show.
Let's hope they learned their lesson after the Flipside, but I reserve my optimism for after it comes out
This video was awesome in a very classic Flash cartoon kind of way. I guarantee you this is exactly the way theaters are gonna look when TADC premieres.

@St1ka Lost interest by season 2. Based upon reading spoiler reviews, I saved myself a lot of potentially wasted time
Seems like after Game of Thrones, shows botching the ending has become something of an established standard now, almost as if the showrunners are sick of it by the end.
All internet discourse summed up for all time:
Person 1: "I'm talking about a thing"
Person 2: "Oh?! What about this thing?! Or did you really mean this or that, you racist!"
Person 1: "Sir, this is a Wendy's"
That's it. That's all internet discourse summed up for all time.
@azrathetical@dezzie_rezzie This is one of those moments I'm actually glad to have been out of the loop. I had no idea who this dude was and I 100% unsurprised at any weird stuff found out about the guy.
@boltondynamics I read it described as "what rich Gen Z-ers think millennial middle class teenagers were during the period when jt Gen X was coming into adulthood" and that feels right. It doesn't say, but most say it's based in 1995 which makes even the eldest millennial only 14 at the time.
@ALegendaryDrops Someone described the game as "Rich kids writing what they think normal kids spoke and acted like in the 90s" and damned if that isn't pretty accurate.
@BeanJuiceStudio If it's a valid one that at least has some thought to it, I'd just leave it be.
However, if it's especially egregious or aggressive and embellishing more bad than there is, I'd respond only refuting what isn't true and avoid getting personal with it.
@DMC_Ryan I actually was a teenager in the mid-90s. The game was filled with anachronistic nonsense and a level of self-important fart-sniffing that would've gotten anyone who actually acted like that in that time chucked into a bathroom and given swirlies until our arms got too tired.
@BeanJuiceStudio Solo dev, 100%
My successes are my own, as are my failings.
If I ever get successful enough to start a studio, I gladly will, but I also don't want to be responsible for another person's paycheck
@LonelyGoomba This is the most reddit thing I've ever read.
"Why is everyone ripping on a nostalgia bait Netflix show with buttons about Gen X coming of age in the 90s, but marketed as millennial feelings slop, made by Gen Z-ers?"
"oh, nvm, lol. People I was told not to like talk about it."
