Another key difference is that in the usual rules of shiritori is that any word goes unless it ends in the "n" sound in Japanese, but in my game you can only use the letters displayed. Which adds a different kind of challenge to the game.
I started making a new game. This game is based in the Japanese word game "shiritori"
In my version, a topic word such as "Animal" is the starting word. The next word starts with the last letter of the previous word. Animal -> L -> Lion.
Demo coming soon.

@PolarTree_Games I've lost count of how many games I've started and not completed to a degree that I'd say I'm ready to release it.
But some I've used the skills and even assets in newer games so I wouldn't say I've regretted anything.
Good luck with your game.
For me it was the PSP with GTA: Liberty City Stories, Monster Hunter Freedom and Freedom 2/Unite.
But there are soooo many great games on both systems. I'm interested in what other people think.

I experimented with some sort of variations/subspecies sort of thing. I'm not sure which ones I'll use in the game, but I like the idea of having different animals with slightly different features here and there.

@natasgrandson Thanks for the comment. Yes, it's made in LMMS and mostly uses the instruments that come with the software. Most of my songs are nameless at the moment. I'll be focussing on making songs for my game. And maybe when it's released, the songs will have names.
Some music I've been playing around with for a game in development. Sorry about the audio, trying to find good recording software. Anyone have any recommendations?
Another sneek peek of the game coming next weekend or maybe even before.

I've been working hard on my game that takes inspiration from ancient Mesopotamia & Arabian myths (such as djinn). It'll also have elements of something similar to steampunk (technology that the people at the time shouldn't have had).
