So now I see, more shite teams in the world cup means more revenue for FIFA and more stat packing for the superstars. Football is getting proper shit. More interested in promoting the 'greatest' players (they aren't) than promoting competitive matches.
@maxrushden Why do so many people, when they see a great game, need to state it is the best ever...there have been other great games in the history of football.
Bloody hell, the hyperbolic reaction to anything good is exhausting. Yes, it was a great game tonight but there have been other great games. Not everything has to be the best ever...
Football really is shite now isn't it. Overly coached and structured teams, fleecing fans who look bored, no atmosphere. Losing proper terraces, fans standing together and being truly invested in a team has killed it for me. Money won, football is dying. #avfc
Alan Hutton's comment that the early Baleba booking should have been a warning as it was so early, is exactly why the ex-players as refs argument is flawed #avfc
Perhaps worth noting following the Leicester verdict today that tomorrow marks the third anniversary of the Premier League charging Manchester City for multiple breaches of financial rules
