3/ & 2nd, during the year of walking, I want to learn to identify, collect, & use dye plants native to Kentucky. I will learn to know what colors they can provide, when to harvest them, how to dry and store them, & how to take what is in the plant & transfer its color into cloth.
3/3 Sowers is a graduate from Sweet Briar College, earning a B.A. in economics. She has an M.A. and a Ph.D. in economics from Claremont Graduate University and earned her charter in the Chartered Financial Analyst program in 2012.

4/4 Perry is the author of Law in American Meetinghouses: Church Discipline and Civil Authority in Kentucky, 1780-1845. (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2022).
