The world's richest company needs more of your money! After years of crippling the #Mac for profit maximization, well, now they're starting to restrict the #Applecare Plus warranty, by starting to phase out the transferable pre-paid Applecare in favor of non-transferable subscription Applecare only. This will hurt many types of consumers who like to get top dollar selling off their old computer with transferable Applecare, and will drive more people to trade-in their old Mac to Apple (for insultingly low offers).
The warranty issue was the final straw.
And those who bought an #iPhone16 for the #AppleIntelligence that won't deliver until the #iPhone17, Apple should give you a rebate.

A notable change coming to AppleCare+ next week: Apple is dropping the 2-3 year pay in advance option at physical retail stores and on devices and will only offer monthly and annual subscriptions. You’ll still be able to get those multi-year plans on the online store.
