@ImpetuousHeart A soft smile spreads across Sonny's lips as he watches the gentle brushing of her thumb along his skin.
"Nah, not if we're careful. How often are we actually at the precinct together anymore anyway? When we are, Fin and Liv are out on their own."
@ImpetuousHeart Sonny stares at their hands and commits the feeling that it gives him to memory; surely if he remembers this moment, it'll give him the push needed to keep their relationship a secret when it's hard.
"If Fin hasn't caught on after our game of hooky today, I don't think he will."
@ImpetuousHeart Staying quiet for a moment, Sonny reaches out and rests his hand on Amanda's. The warmth of her skin too perfect to dare pull away from.
"Alright, we don't disclose. Think we got it in us to keep the ruse up?"
@ImpetuousHeart Sonny looks down to his hands and gives a small sigh. Why is it when he's happy, things get complicated? Deep down, he knew they'd have to disclose. Bit he was holding onto hope they could figure something else out.
"I don't want one of us to have to go anywhere..."
@ImpetuousHeart Sonny looks to the blonde with a small smile on his face. If anyone had told him even a few months ago that this would be his life, he would have called them crazy.
"Are... are we going to talk about what this means for work down the line for us?"
@ImpetuousHeart "Look at the two of us, being responsible adults on our days off with errands and cleaning."
Sonny chuckles softly and nods his head at Amanda, his hand reaching over to rest on her arm.
"I'm up for anything you want to do. But the dog park sounds great."
@ImpetuousHeart Sonny relaxes back into the couch and shrugs his shoulders lightly, thinking about it for a moment.
"Nothing too exciting. Clean up around here, maybe some grocery shopping. Depending on the day, sometimes I go for a walk, but mostly I just try to relax."
@ImpetuousHeart Sonny nods his head at Amanda, a permanent smile seeming to sit on his lips since they returned to his apartment.
"Sounds perfect to me, Amanda. Just you, me, Frannie... I couldn't think of anything else I'd rather do with my day off."
@ImpetuousHeart Sonny sets his plate down on the coffee table and relaxes back into the couch, shaking his head at Amanda.
"Nobody from the precinct will see us if we go pick up a few things. We won't be long, promise."
@ImpetuousHeart Sonny sits and eats in the comfortable silence that comes with being so happy and content with someone's company. He admires Amanda as they eat their dinner, still not fully convinced that this is actually real and not just a dream.
"What do you say we get up tomorrow, go getβ
@ImpetuousHeart Sonny shakes his head as he takes another bite of his chicken, scooting closer to her as he chews quietly.
"I promise, you won't. As you can see, there is plenty of space around here. And, well, I enjoy having you around. It makes me happy that you're here. Both of you."
@ImpetuousHeart Silently, Sonny reaches over and rests his hand over Amanda's that isn't holding her fork and curls his fingers around hers lightly. After swallowing down his bite of food, he turns his head and looks to her as he speaks.
"You know, while you're staying here, we can make itβ
@ImpetuousHeart With a laugh at Frankie's clear exclamation, he sets the bowl of chicken he made for her down so she could eat her dinner along with them.
"That settles it then. You're my girls, and I'm going to do whatever I can to protect you both. I promise you that, Amanda..."
@ImpetuousHeart Sonny picks his spot out next to Amanda and nods his head as he sets their plates down.
"Yes, my girls. I said what I said..."
His smirk is on full display as he turns himself more towards her and holds out the fork for her to take.
"You and Frannie, you're my girls, right?"
@ImpetuousHeart "Even if it is, I'll let you wear it."
Sonny couldn't help but stare at the woman in his living room, in his hoodie. If someone had told him even a few months ago that he'd be here with her now, he'd have said they were crazy.
"That's okay. I'll spoil my girls."
@ImpetuousHeart Sonny looks Amanda over when she emerges from the bedroom in one of his hoodies.
"Looks way better on you than it does on me.
Find your spot, I'll bring dinner over to you."
@ImpetuousHeart "I originally came here for the cheaper rent. But the shower is what makes me stay."
Sonny chuckles as he dishes up a couple of servings of dinner, complete with some plain chicken in a bowl for Frannie.
"If you're still cold, you can grab one of my hooded sweatshirts..."
@ImpetuousHeart Once Amanda is wrapped up, Sonny kneels down next to Frannie to start toweling her off as well.
"Sure, I still got about 20 minutes on the food. I can stretch that to 30 if I stew the tomatoes slow. Go get yourself a nice hot shower."
