⚡️Thousands of Amhara displaced as regime forces indiscriminately fire on Amhara communities and use tanks to shell homes, and Orthodox church grounds in Gida-Ayana Woreda (📍East Wollega Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia).

🔴 Between September 1st–2nd, federal and Oromia regional forces backed by Qeerroo mobilized large contingents toward the Ali and Meleketa areas of Andode-Dicho Kebele under the premise of targeting Fano, opening indiscriminate fire on residential neighborhoods and forcing residents to flee into surrounding forests.

🔴 During the operations, regime forces used heavy weaponry, including tanks, to shell residential areas, forest locations where displaced civilians had sought refuge, and the compound of Nigulo-Gabriel Church in the Meleketa and Ali localities.

🔴 Tens of thousands of civilians remain displaced outdoors following consecutive offensives by federal and regional forces. Continued gunfire has prevented many from returning home, leaving displaced families without adequate shelter and facing severe hunger while sheltering in nearby forests.
