@CHEK_News I personally feel this is a bad look, for businesses to charge an additional fee to consumers.

Math-wise…$500k of payroll is exempt, so a business with $900,000 employee comp (18 employees at average $50k each) would pay 2.95% BC employer health tax on $400,000 = <$1,000/mo.

It really depends on where you live, though. Here, no one is saving more for the down payment, because you cannot save fast enough to keep up with the increase. 😭

@Mom101 I am a total online shopper now. B/c stores were closed in 2020, I bought online locally (and it would delivered the next day! Or I would do curbside pick-up). Browsing online is so easy to do (at 1am 😬). But I abandon my cart often…it’s window shopping 🛍-online edition!
