In the event of a coastal emergencydial999andaskforthecoastguard
With the winter season now upon us we would like to remind people to take the opportunity to check their moorings before the start of the season...this year our station has launched 5 times to boats that have snapped their moorings in the river Torridge . Here's our Tamar onhers
One of our team is also a volunteer coastguard rescue officer with @Bidefordcrt and like us is ready to drop everything at a moments notice to save those in trouble on the coast. Remember if you see anyone in trouble on the coast dial 999 and ask for the coastguard https://t.co/UHsZIbg6cF
If you are unlucky enough to fall into the water don't panic. The brochure below is designed to help you BEFORE you go in! Make a point of reading it and pass it around for others to learn too. Keep safe, #RespectTheWater#RNLI Dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard for urgent Help.

Around half the people who die at the coast slip, trip or fall into the water. They never intended to get wet. #respectthewater@RNLI#floatnotswim https://t.co/dqUSQj3D2m
