WI housing construction, 2023: Number of new single-family units was about 12% lower than in 2021; units in multi-family buildings was about 15% lower than two years prior.
WI housing construction slowed for the second straight year in 2023. Net change in the state's housing stock was down about 13% from 2021. But the net gains of the past four years have all been well above those in the 2014-19 period.

Births in the U.S. are increasingly to higher-educated mothers:
Pre-2020, approximately 66% of births were to mothers without a college degree; 32% were to mothers with a college degree or higher.
Post-2020, it is now 63% and 35%, respectively.
