Current read - not my usual fare but enjoying the 3 female protagonists, each seeing each other through different lenses, only partially accurate. The descriptions of the family-specific behaviours, jokes, and language and the resulting tensions made me think about my own.

If you are interested in Canadian history, pick up this beautifully moving book by Catherine Clement on the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1923. We were lucky to catch her talk at The Confluence yesterday.
Current read: I think every foodie has a love for this guy in some way. I have one of his episodes on Spain saved on the PVR and still can’t quite bring myself to delete it.
