@dinocoffeequeen If you are going to use chickpeas in a lot of recipes it's cheaper to buy a bag of dried ones, cook them and freeze them. You can then put some in a stew from frozen, also frozen chickpeas makes better hummus
During Roy Keane’s time as Sunderland manager, when the club were struggling near the bottom of the Premier League, Chris Kamara recalls a chance encounter in a hotel lift in London.
Kamara says the meeting happened at the Marriott in Kensington, a hotel commonly used by football teams at the time.
He had entered the lift on the fourth floor, heading down to the bar.
When the lift stopped on the third floor, the doors opened and Keane stepped in.
Kamara says he was about to greet him, but Keane immediately lowered his head as the doors shut.
Moments later, the automated voice in the lift announced: “Going down.”
Kamara says he glanced at Keane and joked: “I think she’s talking to you, Roy.”
