I'm going on my second ever Scotland writing break at the end of the month... Not to the Highlands this time, but to Wigtown, Scotland's National Booktown!! Excited isn't the word :D :D <3
I uploaded a video the other day, however, that will tell you exactly why I haven't been able to do that yet so far this new year, with a lot of things that happened in January. Needless to say, I'm glad January 2018 is gone. Done with. I also want to start Tweeting more.
I'd really love to start Booktubing weekly if I can, on days off maybe? Maybe I should upload on Mondays as that is my usual day off. I'd love to do one on my past submitting stories, since I'm back in the process of it again. And then, I'll update on how THIS time goes. Later.
People who disdain writing "just for children" fail to realize that those children will remember what they read, maybe for the rest of their lives. You're not writing for permanent children; you're getting an early start on adults.
Who knew that when Heidi died, she would discover she was the subject of a powerful prophecy, which would force her into the Underworld? A prophecy where she would destroy a murderous death god, and save hopeless souls? Not Heidi. #lgbt#ffromance#amquerying#YAFantasy
OTHER USES FOR BOOKS
• fill your house with them so it's not empty
• take photos of them to show to people when they ask if you have kids
• carry them around so you look intelligent
• pile them in front of your door so the extroverts can't get in
So I’m @ the bank waiting in line & the guy in front of me is spitting game to the teller, she’s laughing & he’s attractive so I can tell she’s digging it, he asks her if he can take her out and she says “with what? The whole $11.96 you got in your account?” SON, my chest 😭

WHAT WE WRITE: characters doing epic knife flips and storming the castle with complex heist plans
WHAT WE DO IN REAL LIFE: misspell our own name and say "thingie" because we can't remember words
My wife and I are taking our first trip in years without the kids.
Someone asked if we'll miss them.
We thought about it for a second.
Then we laughed till we cried.
