@BCBSMA information on my brother was sent to you via direct message. He is waiting by his phone and checking his email. Now you can put a human face to the denial and have a chance to have a conversation with him. Ball is in your court.
2/2 @BCBSMA maybe a post on twitter will make you call him back??? Guess you don’t care about a 40 year old with two little kids who has cancer. Not a good look. Message me for his contact info, if you care.
@BCBSMA thanks for delaying my brother’s cancer care. We waited a whole two weeks for a denial and when he called for more info he was told he couldn’t get it because of HIPPA. He is the patient! Also waiting since last Friday for a call back to get a case manager. Do better!!
@USDOT I think @united needs some reinforcement on the compensation rules. Lost baggage and operational delays and yet we had to show up at the counter in person to get anywhere. It’s sad that passengers have to know them better than companies.
@united very disappointed in your customer service. It is sad that the only way to get help is to cry at the check in desk after being stuck and delayed due to operations for 14 hours. Do better for your regular passengers. I know we aren’t first class but we are the majority.
Palliative care is the most misunderstood specialty, not only by patients/families but also by other healthcare team members.
I give SO much credit to my pall care colleagues for gracefully correcting misconceptions all the time 👏
@snakagawa_md I love that you called it a procedure - that is how I teach it too, it’s a skill Also why it drives me nuts when I am interrupted by ppl coming into the room when I am in the middle of a conversation. No one used to interrupt me when I was putting in a central line, same idea...
@emilysharpe @JakeStrandMD @olmstedcounty @RPS535 @BridgetPulosMD @NickPulosMD @momtoalexand3ca @cathynathansb@DrGarcia4SB@karen4rochsb@munoz535 I’m still trying to understand why back to school wasn’t the first item on the agenda. They addressed a proposed study first, for Pete’s sake! That showed me off the bat what the school board was going to do. Leave our kids till last - awesome.
@3degreesRN We had those in of the hospitals I used to work at. The ear pieces hurt and you can’t hear a thing. I used to call the PlaySkool stethoscopes. 🙄You would likely hear better if you put your ear on their chest.
The lasst 4 nights I have been waking up at 330 because I swear I heard the doorbell. Today, I was so eager (half asleep) to see who was there that I literally walked into the wall. I’m never eager to see anyone at 3am. What is happening? Premonition...vax side effect 😂??
I'm an ER Nurse in Seattle. Last night @SeattlePD officers came to the ER to obtain a statement from an assault patient. One officer, Eric Whitehead, blatantly refused to put a mask on while standing in a high-traffic hallway. There were covid positive pts in nearby rooms. 1/
Not a big deal for med Twitter, but it’s my first book chapter! Lots of blood, sweat and tears and LOTS of cursing! Reconnected with my old friend from grad school who was my co-author. Got a copy in the mail-my son was proud & took this pic ❤️
