Hi APU frens, regarding CTO. Because APU is a v1 pons contract, there's no technical way to formally CTO. The contract would have to be migrated which is what Brodie is going through now. We spoke to Pons about this and they suggested one idea would be to create a separate LP pool that people would buy from instead of the original LP pool which is giving the old dev fees. This would preserve the original contract (it's OG APU on Pons so we considered it important), but also stop the threat of the old deployer from accumulating fees and then dumping them. This is literally identical to what Brodie has done prior to making the call to fully migrate to a new contract. Does it mean we get fees as the CTO team? Fees will come out of the LP pool to those who add liquidity into it. I can provide the LP pool link that has been set up by Pons. I myself do not hold sufficient supply to add more LP into it, but I know there are whales in here that would see the value in being able to do so. The fees would be paid out to the LP providers, and then perhaps we can coordinate a shared wallet where those fees can go. As you can see, however, we have kept running the project, kept the X and TG moving and have been able to get through into direct conversation with Ozzy and the team, who actually set up the LP pool in question which you see here: https://t.co/q93l7DhImU Why is it bullish? Pons clearly has an interest in our project. They bought supply and helped set up the LP pool. What is needed now is coordination with the bigger whales/supply in this group so that we can set up a quasi-fee structure to support the CTO personnel to keep it running. As mentioned, I do not myself personally have the supply possible to add to LP that would be sufficient enough to begin generating fees. We need a team effort where the whales/top holders do this and then work with the CTO team (me, and 2 others currently) to coordinate. I am quite clear at this stage that migrating isn't the right move and we can, as a team, work with the LP pool set up by Pons to route fees to those contributing to the project. This is what Brodie did although Brodie is now going through migration. We are the OG APU on Pons; we have a special place and Pons have shown dedication to this so far by buying supply and setting up the LP. They want to help us. DM us here if you can/want to assist.
