If Virginia Democrats try to drag in these Michigan-style sex-education mandates—teaching gender identity and sexual orientation with no parental opt-out—let me be perfectly clear:

I will sue the very day it lands in Virginia.

Parents have a fundamental right under Virginia law to direct the upbringing and religious instruction of their children. Forcing kids into ideology that contradicts their family’s faith, and denying parents the right to step in, is unconstitutional six different ways.

If Richmond wants to pick a fight over parental rights and religious freedom, then we’ll handle that fight where it belongs—in the courtroom, not in the classroom.
