Like every commie, I wanted to post something here about birthday boy Karl Marx. But today has been an emotional morning, and for some reason I started thinking of the fact that Marx and Jenny lost four of their children when they were all so so young and ill, and they were living in poverty and debt, and it is all so heartbreakingly painful that one the greatest minds the world has ever seen lived in this unspeakable misery. Reading Jennys letters to Engels about these deaths and I cannot stop crying. 💔😢
