Thanks to the excellent weather, Bengaluru attracts a lot of software professionals, making it one of the fastest growing cities in the world. This creates tremendous pressure on the water resources and infrastructure. Project AQUA's mission is to address this challenge.
Project AQUA is a visionary 3-phase project that aims to provide 80 TMC of water per year to the fast-growing city of Bengaluru in India. Eight pipes, each of 3.4 metres diameter, will carry the water from the Linganamakki Dam across 412 kilometres over a height of 400 metres.
