History made at La Mirada High School! Congratulations to Kayla Han on winning the CIF State Championship in the 500 Free, becoming the 1st state swim champion in school history. Her swims at the CIF State Championships also helped lead the La Mirada girls team to a 23rd place.

Back at Mt. SAC for more CIF-SS swimming finals. The Division 3 finals just concluded. SGV had three individual champions.

La Mirada's Lincoln Jones won the 200 yard medley in 1:51.29.

Wilson's Irene Kim won the marathon 500 yard freestyle in 4:56.37.

Sonora's Mayu Yager dominated in the 200 medley, winning by nearly five seconds in 2:06.74.
