@Testudol @dyingscribe Political power in the movie is only for those who serve the military. Same with having kids reserved for Citizens. Though I think I agree with this criticism, there is no real break in the movie between the propaganda world and the real world, besides a few things.

@dyingscribe I dont understand how your reasoning leads to the conclusion he failed in depicting fascism. I dont think the film needs a neat systematic breakdown of fascism, the movie just depicting the charismatic imagery of the government(with a backdrop…) works in its favor imo.
