By the way, the correct price is 7239. If that happens in the next week or so, it will give us a 315x315 square from the Covid lows in 2020. Here is the weekly chart that I used to get the price & time targets.
Bottom line:
- No War
- No Peace
- Belligerent rhetoric
- Indefinite ceasefire (no full resolution)
- Strait is still closed
This is not a stable or economically productive outcome
@MorganLBrennan@CNBC Few thoughts. Brunch at Capella. Roof top bars at marina bay sands. Luke’s chop house is a go to. But it’s pretty awesome everywhere!

"Unused savings" is an absurdity that only European Commission bureaucrats would invent.
1- All savings are invested in the economy.
2- What the EU wants is to take control of your money.
@fwred Yes - in order to achieve their fabricated 2% target they will contract every part of the economy to offset energy price inflation. The old line from the Vietnam war springs to mind "We had to burn down the village.. to save it"
@LynAldenContact A few years ago I wrote a book under a pseudonym which was published and people buy and read. The process of writing something tangible, material in terms of length and story, and entertaining, was tough but extremely satisfying. Looking forward to reading yours.
@TheMichaelEvery in his interview after his latest dissent Miran stated that he raised at FOMC the fact that CPI was a very poor measure of inflation, citing amongst other factors the lagged rent component. Push back was that as this is the official data you have to use it even if it is “wrong”
As a huge formula one fan (and a fan of Martin brundle) there is a great lesson to be learnt from this in managing risk. It’s multi dimensional and not in any way linear
Dean I appreciate your passion but we lifted and coasted back in the fearsome 80’s turbo days. And pretty much constantly in Sportscar racing at Le Mans and suchlike. Sometimes regulations determine total fuel use, but in any case you never want to carry excess fuel through a race, it’s guaranteed to slow you down. Through the eras the great champions had to manage and protect engines, tyres, brakes, clutch, gearbox, suspension, driveshafts, fuel load, and now battery charge. It’s all part of the challenge, the best simply have a greater capacity to manage those challenges whilst carrying winning speed.
