Ryan Cohen: “Why Does Everyone Want GameStop to Fail?”
$GME CEO @ryancohen:
“The media is an example. Why is it that you've got a ($EBAY) management team with no skin in the game, they're not builders, they haven't built anything themselves before, they've basically just been employees at major companies, they’ve been overpaid, I don't think they've ever broken out a sweat in their entire lives, why does everyone want them to succeed?
But when you have someone that, and by the way, I'm putting $500M of my own money into this transaction, I haven't pulled a penny out of GameStop, and it seems like everyone in the media basically wants us to fail, and wants them to succeed.
And you've got a board that's making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. They don't buy stock with their own money. They end up showing up to a handful of board meetings, and they're making a fortune. You've got a management team that is grossly overpaid, taking zero risk.
There's nothing more American than basically risking your own capital. So why does everyone want us to fail?
@friedberg:
“I do think that the media, in order to give you credibility, they're gonna have to acknowledge that all of their takes on GameStop just being a meme stock were wrong, and that there is actually a business here, and that there is value being created here, and that they missed that, and they got the story completely wrong.”

I don't know why any of you haters are surprised I'm the one actually engaging here.
You're the ones who've obsessively pored over the 10,000 photos, the 30,000 text messages, and the 128,000 emails from my hacked iCloud and stolen devices.
If I am anything, I am prolific.
You know what you won't find? Any of the most heinous, hateful things you keep posting about me.
What you'll find from me here is the same thing you found there.
Total transparency. Finally on my terms. Not yours.
There is a graveyard in American tech right now and nobody is walking through it. Companies down 70, 80, 90% from the highs. Still profitable. Still growing. Still the leader in their category. Just unloved. The Trade Desk at 9x earnings. PayPal at 12x with $6 billion in free cash flow. Adobe at 17x and people are talking about it like it’s Kodak. Etsy at 8x EBITDA running a marketplace that two billion people have heard of. Roku trading below its own balance sheet liquidation value if you squint. Match Group, Zoom, Pinterest — each of these would have been a hedge fund’s top pick at this multiple in 2017. Now they’re orphans. Everyone is buying the Mag 7 because the Mag 7 is the trade. The Mag 7 IS already the trade. The trade is over. The next trade is in the rubble pile. You don’t get rich buying what worked. You get rich buying what stopped working for reasons that turn out to be temporary. Every name on that list was a market darling 36 months ago. The fundamentals didn’t fall 80%. The narrative did. Narratives come back. Earnings compound. I’m not buying NVDA at 45x. I’m buying the names CNBC won’t say out loud anymore
My favorite humanoid stocks ranked:
1. $AMBA (Ambarella) — Best pure-play edge AI vision for robotics. 37% revenue growth, 60% gross margins,$100M+ robotic pipeline, still under $5B market cap. The risk is concentration and scale. The upside is being the de facto vision processor as robots proliferate.
2. $6324.T (Harmonic Drive) — Irreplaceable. There is no substitute for strain wave reducers in high-precision robot joints. 75% market share with Nabtesco. Hard to replicate. If humanoid robots ship in any volume, this company prints money.
3. $ALGM (Allegro MicroSystems) — Near-monopoly in motor current sensing, priced like an auto cyclical. 30-50 sensors per humanoid at automotive-tier P/E multiples. The market hasn’t re-rated this for robotics yet.
4. $VPG (Vishay Precision Group) — The purest humanoid hardware play. Precision load cells and force sensors with a 1.21 book-to-bill. Risk: trading at 255x current earnings on ~$320M revenue. If humanoid volumes slip, this gets crushed. But if they don’t, VPG is the most direct bet on robot touch.
5. $MOG.A (Moog) — Aerospace-grade precision actuators with a credible humanoid crossover. Already up 83% on the thesis but the volume ramp hasn’t started. Defense + robotics optionality.
@rnewton7777 Every time I open X there's a new stock being heavily promoted and chased higher. Meanwhile, GameStop seems to be the one ticker nobody wants to talk positively about.
