i’m both scarred & excited by opus 4.5:

if you still assume ai is “slop”

rethink that assumption and give all ai tools (both general-purpose and vertical) - a good shot for the next month, start with just claude code

i promise: you’ll feel the magic

if not, it’s probably a skill issue - get better at managing and talking to ai (put efforts)

opus 4.5 is THE inflection point for code generation

earlier, you had to over-engineer systems just to make it deterministic and get outcomes

now, models are capable enough to generate anything on the fly using code and get the same determinism with embedded intelligence

and everything on the internet is code

for instance: crypto is internet capital markets

with dynamic code generation, finance itself becomes generative via crypto

it's up only from here:

we’ll see an explosion of tooling around: skills, agents, context, memory, permissions, tools, plugins, hooks, mcp, workflows, environments etc

while claude code/cursor can do anything using code, but we’ll start seeing vertical claude code

"claude code for XYZ"

where a specific problem will be solved using code generation (with in-built harness and specific claude skills)

you can also think of them as claude code wrappers using agent sdk

(just like we had wave of chatgpt wrappers in ‘23)

i’m scarred because many agentic systems we built over the last 6 months already feel obsolete

i’m excited because i get a front-row seat: building in ai, experiencing the epiphany firsthand

this is the strongest I've seen solana holistically in 5 years, but timed during the worst crypto sentiment in 2 years

if you have some patience and slightly irrational optimism here, you will do well on a 2-ish year time horizon

imo this thing could actually become the main backbone of global trading for many markets
