I highly recommend The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. It’s short enough to read in under an hour, yet every chapter offers thoughtful reflections on life, love, joy, sorrow, freedom, and self-understanding.

When I first discovered it, I read one chapter a day so I could really absorb its insights. Despite its brevity, Gibran’s exploration of human emotions, relationships, and personal growth is remarkably profound. Even now, I return to it whenever I feel stressed, and his words always bring me a sense of comfort.
