GRUDGES
Here are 11 things you need to know about keeping grudges:
1. Holding a grudge is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to suffer. Free yourself. Forgive, not for them but for you.
2. Grudges chain your heart to the past. Break free. Choose peace.
3. When you stop nursing grudges, you start nurturing growth.
4. You deserve peace more than you deserve revenge. Let the grudge go.
5. Don’t let someone’s past mistake take up space in your present joy.
6. A clear heart sleeps better. Release the weight of old wounds.
7. Forgiveness isn't approval. It's power. It's reclaiming your peace.
8. Grudges make you relive pain. Letting go lets you live again.
9. You can’t bloom while clinging to bitterness. Set yourself free.
10. Peace starts the moment you choose not to replay the hurt.
11. Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. Don't carry what doesn't serve you.
The EDUCATED but ELECTORAL ILLITERATE YOUTHS
So, during the last LG elections in Lagos State, here are my observations.
1. The acclaimed educated young people sat at home browsing, campaigning and fighting one another on social media instead of going out to vote.
2. While I was walking down to my polling unit, some educated and but 'Electoral Illiterates' young people discouraged me, they advised that i go back home(because it rained). They opined that going to vote is just a waste of time.
3. Most educated young people do not belong to any political party. Hence leaving the running of political parties and the nation in the hands of the less educated folks.
4. A popular illiterate drug Barron above the age of 45 was the youth leader of a particular party in my ward.
5. A man above the of 35 was also the youth leader of another party in a neighbouring ward.
6. The woman leader of a particular party in my ward is an illiterate.
7. Those considered as illiterates and miscreants were busy doing running arounds and canvasing voters to vote for their party.
8. Majority of those that came out to vote were elderly, acclaimed miscreants and does with less educational background.
9. A number of the educated but 'Electoral Illiterate' young people do not have voters card and do not even care about getting it. While the acclaimed illiterates/miscreants will queue in the rain or shine to get their cards.
MY CONCERNS
Now that the educated youths have decided to leave the running of political parties/ structures(hence the running of the country) into the hands of illiterates, how on earth should they be expect to have a country where graduates are gaingfully employed? How on earth should they expect to have sound minds at the helm of affairs? How on earth should they expect developmental policies from these elected officials?
Highly educated, classy, sophisticated and Modern but extremely irresponsible; that's the best way to describe some of us.
If as an educated young person you are not responsible to your country, why do you think your country should be responsible for you? You can't reap where you haven't sowed.
If the acclaimed educated young people continue to leave political parties, politics and politicking in the hands of illiterates and miscreants, they should not expect Nigeria to be greater than where she is presently. Not even in the nearest future.
IT TAKES A RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS TO HAVE A RESPONSIBLE AND RESPONSIVE GOVERNMENT.

Dear Young Nigerians,
One lesson from the 2023 elections, particularly in Lagos, should never be forgotten.
In the period following the presidential election and leading up to the governorship election, we witnessed a troubling shift in public discourse. Conversations that should have focused on competence, governance, development, and the future of our nation were gradually diverted towards tribal sentiments, ethnic divisions, and unnecessary suspicion among citizens.
Many sincere and well-meaning Nigerians participated in these conversations without realising that they were being drawn into narratives carefully designed by others.
Throughout history, whenever politicians find it difficult to compete on ideas, performance, character, or vision, some resort to exploiting the fault lines of ethnicity, religion, and identity. Their calculation is simple: a divided people are easier to manipulate than a united people.
Today, I see similar efforts emerging again, sometimes in more subtle and sophisticated ways. Narratives are planted, amplified, and circulated, often by individuals who genuinely believe they are defending a worthy cause, without recognizing the broader agenda behind such campaigns.
Let me state clearly that Pastor Enoch Adeboye remains one of the foremost fathers of faith in our nation. For decades, he has consistently preached the virtues of peace, prayer, love, reconciliation, and national unity. Even when faced with provocation, his response has always reflected humility, restraint, wisdom, and grace.
At 84 years of age, it would be unfair for young and able-bodied Nigerians to transfer to him responsibilities that properly belong to them. The task of building a better Nigeria rests primarily on the shoulders of the younger generation. It is their duty to lead the conversations, champion the reforms, and drive the positive change our nation urgently requires.
We must be careful not to become instruments in the hands of those who secretly nurture division while publicly preaching unity. In most cases, their target is not the individual being attacked; instead, it is the person who is attacking. Their real objective is to weaken the bonds that hold us together as one people and one nation.
I therefore urge all young Nigerians: do not allow anyone to recruit you into hatred. Do not allow anyone to weaponise your ethnicity, your faith, or your admiration for respected leaders.
Question every narrative. Verify every claim. Follow the facts. Resist manipulation.
The Nigeria of our dreams can only be built by citizens who refuse to be divided, who choose unity over hatred, and who place our collective future above narrow interests.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
