Last night, I read a report that was in circulation from a certain police station in Lamu, and hoped it was not true. I can’t even share it here because of the kind of details in it. Then I was sent some videos from that place and regretted watching them because of how bad they were😥. Most of the victims were Kikuyus. I choose not to go into the details of what was in those videos, but it’s the worst thing my eyes have ever watched.

May God secure our country. I also pray that our government exercises wisdom, in order to keep the citizens safe. For starters, Kibaki and Uhuru kept some borders closed for a reason… That should not change as we are not out of danger yet. I did a couple of tweets to raise concerns about some moves in the security sector a few weeks ago, but I was called names.

I still hope that wisdom will apply, and as a country we shall prevail.
