Trying to meet writing deadlines despite all the attention my son demands, distractions on the internet, chaos in my mind and construction noises outside.
It has been such a great week! So many warm messages! Sharing some of the love that has poured in for 'Interview'. If you haven't yet seen it, please try to catch it!
'Interview' is a part of the anthology 'Feels Like Ishq' that's now streaming worldwide on Netflix.
I've never met an Indori who hasn't brought up poha within the first 5 minutes of a conversation. ANY conversation leads to poha, sarafa, chhappan, dahi bhalla or 'India's cleanest city eight times in a row'.
@nowme_datta 100%! Forward looking love story. Amazing soundtrack. New actors. New singer/s. Everything felt so fresh, even though I saw it years after its release.
@Adani_Elec_Mum One phase gone since over an hour in Khar West. No ongoing work. Complaint lodged. No one is here to fix it. Please address promptly and update on the status.
I get second hand embarrassment from these zabardasti ka videos that IPL team players have to do with content creators. Especially the poorly written/done ones. And then if your team is doing terribly, it's a double whammy.
It’s beyond 10:30 PM and the music is even louder. The road access is blocked. This is a residential area. How is this allowed for months on end? It’s terrible and impossible to work, rest or sleep.
@superselector5@nowme_datta@Kaju_Katri If I may suggest one, it would be Fisk. Australian show. Very unlike Deadloch, though. This one is a breezy, fun sitcom. 3 seasons, all on Netflix.
@nowme_datta@Kaju_Katri Absolutely. Netflix has the BEST interface. Best recommendation algorithm. They really pull you into browsing. APV has become even harder to navigate and endure since those ridiculous ads have started playing.
@nowme_datta@Kaju_Katri Ya that's true. The only reason I even watched it is because someone recommended it very strongly to me. Varna mera bhi miss hi ho jaata.
Sourav Ganguly truly ushered in an audacious spirit in our cricket team, which subsequent captains only took from strength to strength. This test win, followed by the record-setting 2002 Natwest win & reaching the ODI WC finals in 2003 (which no one saw coming, not even us)!
THIS WIN!
By the otherwise patchy 2001 Indian team, against the mighty 2001 Australian team. I will never forget the absolute disbelief and awe with which this day unfolded. Made me (and SO MANY of us) actually FEEL what snatching victory from the jaws of defeat meant.
@cricket_badger Perhaps another way to look at it is that India is showing everyone else how to raise the game? Like peak Australia and West Indies also did in their time.
Who are these people who feel "It was too boring because it was one sided"? Arre kya problem hai one-sided mein? Mil gayi thi na excitement semi finals mein. I don't enjoy 'close' matches. I enjoy watching our team lift the Cup.
For too many years, some of us have seen our share of one sided matches where we would almost always lose. So let us enjoy the view from the other side of these one sided matches. It's amazing to dominate. It only looks easy to us because we're eating chips and watching at home.
Like we lost when we weren't the better team on the exact same ground on that fateful day in November 2023.
So please don't be a party pooper. Let us savour this historic win. And we will, for months and years.

The whole point of different countries hosting the tournament is that players have to play 'local' conditions. We don't go to Perth and expect the pitch to act like Eden Gardens. So please spare the lecture on pitches. We were the better team last night. We won. Simple.
