Our mission is to engage students in learning to become contributing citizens of a democratic society. To do this, we pursue curricular outcomes through activity that includes critical analysis of Gov Policy & Legislation - past, present & future.
Flags in Evergreen will be at half-mast at all our buildings for four days in solidarity and remembrance of the 215 children who died at the Kamloops institute, and for all children who did not survive #IndianResidentialSchools.
As per today’s announcement from MB Gov, schools in Evergreen will continue with in-person learning at this time. Thank you for supporting our students & staff by following public health guidelines. We will inform families of any changes to programming.
Update: Any mothers that participate in the Bear Hunt can get a free pass to the Noventis Aquatic Center. Just snap a photo of the bear at the Rec Centre and show it to Tom or Karen at the Rec Center anytime prior to June 8th to get your free pass.
Thank you to our students and families for your support and co-operation as remote learning gets underway in each of our Gimli schools. To all of our staff - thank you for continuing to put students first. Amazing job! #ForEvergreen
Update for our families & communities: All 3 schools in Gimli (SSES, DGJMS, GHS) will be closed on Monday, April 19. This will allow us, with support from Public Health, to continue investigating and contact-tracing related to recent cases. Stay safe.
