We are asking fans for non-perishable items to be taken to the ground and donated at our collection point.

On Saturday for the last home game of @ArbroathFC we will be collecting donations for our emergency food packages we give out at the fire station. Last year we handed out over 200 food packages to those in need in our community. ๐๐ฉโ๐โฝ๏ธ
Tonight WC Ian Kemp was presented a certificate of appreciation from GC Mark Lowe for 45 years service at Arbroath Fire Station. An astounding achievement in keeping his local community safe. @fire_scot

Last Sunday saw Arbroathโs Mersey-class lifeboat glide down the slipway for the final time, ending over 30 yearsโ service. RNLB Inchcape arrived in the Angus town back in 1993, and during her service has launched on 460 rescues, aiding 304 people, and has saved 12 lives.

Blue watch invited Project Elevate to the fire station. Project Elevate aims to support girls and young women to become more active by working to find their interests and create a programme that offers variety and diversity. Few potential future fire fighters in the making. ๐ฉโ๐๐ฅ
Great to partner with our local policing team to raise awareness on how parked vehicles can restrict access for emergency vehicles. Remember every second counts in an emergency. ๐ฉโ๐๐๐ฎโโ๏ธ
Green watch who are working today attended the CAFE project to help serve Christmas lunches and spread some Christmas cheer. Merry Christmas and stay safe. ๐โค๏ธ๐ ๐ฉโ๐
Overwhelmed by our generous local community, over 130 children and adults will be receiving a Christmas bundle including a gift, selection box, pyjamas and a winter hat on Christmas Day but also know someone cares โค๏ธ. Carnoustie community well done and thank you. ๐๐๐งโ๐
Our wee station turned into Santaโs grotto yesterday. The crew were busy sorting and wrapping Christmas bundles to fulfil 87 referrals we had for children and adults within our community who wouldnโt be receiving much from ๐ .

Again this year the station personnel put together Christmas bundles for 35 local children who may not be receiving much from ๐ . Each child will receive a toy, chocolates & pyjamas. ๐โค๏ธ๐ฉโ๐๐
There will be an optional collection for community together partnership, all donations will be welcome. Of course the Big Man will be here, and if your lucky you may also spy the Grinch!"

"On Friday 22nd December starting 1900 until 2100, Arbroath Community Fire Station will be holding a Santa Drive Through Grotto, bring your letters for Santa and every child will receive a selection box.
