@MastaAirstone@watupdoe168088@CigarBaba777 That’s not code switching but you’re a lil slow and I don’t want to keep explaining the difference between moving like a c**n and code switching for survival
@MastaAirstone@watupdoe168088@CigarBaba777 and the hood is not made up of gangsters lol I don’t have to put on a performance for other black folks. I’m just me. I don’t start using more slangs than I would normally around other Black folks or act different in any way. If you do that then you’re just weird and anti black.
@MastaAirstone@watupdoe168088@CigarBaba777 That’s not code switching lol code switching would be me intentionally speaking “proper” to get a job at a place ran by white folks. Code switching is not turning into a c**n nigga and saying racist shit around white folks lol thats never been code switching
@JustFistula@MastaAirstone@watupdoe168088@CigarBaba777 We don’t have to get weird with it lol Drake’s uncle is literally Larry Graham and he grew up partially in Memphis. He’s definitely Black and grew up around Black folks. He’s just not hood, has allot of anti black tendencies and moves like a bitter white nerd.
@MastaAirstone@watupdoe168088@CigarBaba777 I’ve never once started acting more “hood” around Black folks and I actually live in the hood. Drake has always lived an upper middle class lifestyle and I’ve definitely tried to speak more proper for jobs but never turned into a full blown c**n for white approval.
@sandlerverse Sure, a Black comedy tailored to Black folks who grew up in white suburbs hating their blackness and white liberals who don’t think they’re racist is somehow the real Scary Movie 6
@Dankeychoo@_addogg@doctorbionicle The humor was always situational and campy, not condescending. There is no joke that tell it’s audience that the cartoonish elements in the film are not to be taken seriously and that the characters find it to be just as ridiculous as the uninspired screenwriters do.
@theeonlytau@BussyKeaton This twitter user just got excited at the idea of MJ being influenced by white artists that he completely ignored that 1) Bob Fosse clearly isn’t his sole influence. Just flat out ignoring his Black influences and 2) Fosse is famous & highly influential to allot of performers.
@DeliciousDarth@resistancestan Bolivia was not ready for a revolution at that point and he pretty much inserting him & tried to take the lead in their revolutionary forces. The situation was never going to play out like it did in Cuba.
