Ballinamona Court Cairn #Waterford
Court tombs are Irelands earliest megalithic tombs, the Ballinamona Court Tomb is spectacularly situated on the cliffs in Old Parish. with views in all directions. In winter, the #Cailleach Bhéara or Hag of Beara, grows young and powerful. She symbolises the harsh, challenging Irish winter. Her strength peaks by Bealtaine, then fades with summer. Winter is her domain, embodying survival and resilience. #Megalithictombs #Folklore #mythology #Waterford
