It is still showing 17 hours late and apporoximate ETA of the train to reach kolkata is now around 2 am which was originally supposed to be 10:50 am. 17 hours delay.

This is utterly disappointing that the train 12314(Delhi- Sealdah) Rajdhani express that was scheduled to depart from new delhi at 16:50 pm originally, departed at 1:15 am and even now hasn’t even crossed kanpur. It’s going late by 16 hours.

This will cause a lot of problems to reach home if this reaches at midnight in kolkata. It’s high time please take proper action and ensure the train travels at the earliest and reaches the destination safely. Or there is no point from future to proceed travelling with railways.

THE BIGGEST Money Related Lesson of my 20s :

Story time.

I remember driving a Hyundai Verna in the early part of my career.

It was the car I'd learnt to drive in. I was emotionally attached to it.

Was one of those men who had never been into cars, even as a boy.

So didn't really even know (or care) about how society perceived cars and the status attached with them.

I remember showing up to a small fan meet up in that car in 2018 without thinking much about it.

A few guys at that fan meet passed comments on HOW & WHY I'm driving that car.

I had the money to buy a luxury car even then.

But 2018 was a time when every last bit of spendable money was being reinvested in my 2 small businesses - BeerBiceps Media & Monk Entertainment.

I had to pay salaries, rent, bills and most importantly had to strategically invest for the sake of business development.

Around the same time, I'd see a LOT of contemporary content creators (around the same size) spend exorbitantly on clothes, vacations and "experiences".

I've been at the receiving end of countless "punch down" comments because people always assumed that my finances weren't great back then.

The truth was, that my finances were great. I was consciously living under my means because that's how my parents raised me.

"Always focus on 'saving' first. Water the plants, then reap the fruits."

My clothes, my car, my choices were always commented upon, considering that I was a supposedly "successful" YouTuber.

Those comments sat with me.
But not in a bad way.

Those comments educated me on the game of perception and how much people care about stupid shit.

Of course, eventually even I had to give in to the stupid shit.

It's how society (& especially the media industry) works.

In my industry especially, one's image is one's product.

Whether you like it or not, a "richer" image actually grabs more opportunities if one knows how to play the game right.

But there's a right time for everything.

I've been creating content for 8 years now. I've seen many creators come & go.

The ones who have survived & grown are the ones who have "frugal" roots. The ones who focused on saving money and more importantly, churning out profits consistently.

The frills & luxuries of life are important after a certain stage. They're life experiences that one should target and grow towards.

But never at the cost of the now.

Luxury cars, clothes & services should only be purchased if they pass THIS test :

"If it affects your mental health, it's too expensive."

I don't even know who I'm writing this for.

Maybe it's simply for a past version of me who felt a micro second of self doubt when made fun of for looking "poorer" than the others.

Society has a way of making everyone feel like they're inferior.

But if you're working hard and building a better future every day, you're on the right path.

My all time favourite quote is this : Lao Tzu said, "Fear not moving slowly, fear only standing still."

Do not let the seductive intoxication of social media validation distract you from your long term goals.

Work hard, save efficiently and eventually write elaborate write ups about life while you sit in what the world calls a "luxury car"

Keep at it.
