A #shipwreck dating to the Merovingian time (VII-VIII century AD) has been discovered near #Bordeaux. It’s a strong boat, 12 mt long, capable of sailing and trasporting goods along the Atlantic shores and on the river Garonne.

Sixty bronze coins, datable to the III-IV century AD, were recently found in the archaeological site of the Gran Carro in Lake #Bolsena, in #Lazio, #Italy.
During the uw #survey carried out by the @soprarcheologia , a metal object was also recovered, a protohistoric #knife.
