In 1981, Ringo Starr married Barbara Bach in London at a ceremony attended by George Harrison and Paul McCartney along with their respective families; sadly, John Lennon had passed away four months earlier, on December 8, 1980.

At the Marylebone Registry Office in London, Ringo Starr married model and actress Barbara Bach, whom he had met in 1980 during the filming of the movie The Caveman.

At the reception, the three surviving Beatles posed for a group photo. It was the first time the three former Beatles had been photographed together since August 22, 1969.

Attending the wedding were Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney, George Harrison and Olivia Harrison, Neil Aspinall, Dereck Taylor, Ray Cooper, Harry Nilsson, Ringo’s mother, and his stepfather.

Afterward, they improvised a few songs, with George on guitar, Paul and Harry Nilsson taking turns at the piano, and Ringo playing the spoons alongside Ray Cooper.

Mes filles ont fait de la natation, on fait du basket en short, on joue au tennis en jupe, mes sœurs, ma petite fille, tous les marocains ne comprendraient pas qu'on vienne les amputer de quelque chose que la religion leur a reconnu à condition qu'il n'y ait pas provocation".

On le dit et on le répète, le foulard islamique n'est qu'une provocation d'un islamisme conquérant et rien d'autre.

Paul McCartney is one of the greatest musicians in the history of music.

He was the driving force behind the Beatles and by far the most technically skilled of the four; later, he went on to lead one of the most successful stadium bands of the 1970s, played on and produced several of his own albums, inadvertently invented indie pop, and was the only featured artist on the best-selling album of all time (Thriller).

A multi-instrumentalist, he masters the bass, electric and acoustic guitar, drums, piano, and trumpet, among others.

Not to mention that he’s one of the most virtuosic songwriters of all time, a chameleon across a ton of genres, and that today, at 84, he continues to fill stadiums.
