#mufc are attempting to raid Man City’s academy for two 16-year-old talents:
Xavier Parker, an England youth international, featured for their Under-18s at just 15 and excels in an advanced midfield role. Liverpool have also been keeping tabs on Parker.
Karim Cassim, another England youth international, is also a player United are looking to sign this summer [@Jack_Gaughan]
Man Utd opt out of EFL Trophy and National League Cup next season. Decision partly due to UEFA Youth League (U19s) and also having smaller squad. Club will play in Premier League International Cup. Talks continuing with Adam Lawrence about continuing as U21 boss.
🚨 JUST IN: Manchester United are pursuing a number of the country's most talented young players this summer as they look to recruit for the future.
Manchester City's David Eze is a player of strong interest, having been invited to visit Carrington alongside his representatives this week. The expectation is that Eze will join United despite interest from several Premier League clubs.
United are keen on Liverpool striker Vincent Joseph, although his destination is unclear at this stage, with a number of English and European clubs interested. Joseph holds a German passport and could move abroad this summer.
Charlton Athletic's Tyrie Arojogun, Derby County's Blake Henry and Liverpool's Isaac Konde are among the other players of interest. The club aim to be aggressive in their approach to the market as they look to secure deals for some of England's top prospects.

🏴🌟#MUFC are trying to sign talented 16-year-old midfielder David Eze from rivals #MCFC. Understand Eze & his camp were invited around Carrington as many clubs show their hand. Seen as one of the best talents in England with scouts impressed. @UtdDistrict https://t.co/9vC1D8uWfv
Liverpool and England U16 striker Vincent Joseph is set to leave Anfield to join Manchester United after agreeing a scholarship deal at Old Trafford. #LFC#MUFC
🚨 EXCL: Manchester United exploring move to sign Issac Konde from Liverpool
#LFC winger emerging as a key target for United.
Contact between club and representatives already taken place.
#MUFC want Konde and Vincent Joseph this summer 🔴
Goalkeeper Dermot Mee has been offered a new contract, but academy players Sonny Aljofree, James Bailey and Malachi Sharpe are leaving. Professional development phase defenders Albert Mills and Dante Plunkett are expected to sign pro terms #mufc
It seems we might expect some rotation in personnel between the three big north-west clubs. Manchester United could add a Liverpool academy player to their scholarship group, potentially two while Liverpool, may, might, could, exacerbate Manchester City’s misery of missing out on Josh Abe by adding a gem. Still a long way to go though and more will follow in the coming weeks.
Manchester United forward Ethan Wheatley is a target for Schalke this summer. Schalke are keen on a permanent deal for Wheatley upon their return to the Bundesliga, but United only want the academy product to go out on loan. A number of other clubs are also keen. #MUFC#Schalke
🚨 Manchester United are eyeing a move for Manchester City midfielder David Eze, per Pete O’Rourke.
Born in Dublin and raised in Clondalkin, Eze moved to Manchester at the age of six and has since captained England at U16 level.
Versatile across midfield, he can operate as a 6, 8 or 10 and is considered among the best players in the 2010 age group.
It is believed his long term preference is to represent Ireland at international level 👀
ACADEMY NEWS: Twelve former/current Manchester United juniors are taking part in this years World Cup Finals....good to luck to each of them. It just goes to show that not every player will be a regular in United's first team, but they can still excel and reach the top! 👏
