A further note: Szoboszlai couldn’t pass water & he certainly couldn’t pass it over 5 yards. Then he scores a goal that Liverpool’s best ever No8 would be proud of.

And now no one remembers the 7 unforced errors which are ingrained in him but rather the sensational goal

Both teams in action this afternoon. The firsts take on Welland reserves at the Burrows kickoff at 2 pm. The lads will be looking to put things right after the narrow away loss earlier in the season, with Wellands winner coming from the penalty spot.

The seconds travel to Bredon for a 2 o’clock kickoff. It’ll be a tough afternoon for the lads taking on second in the table Bredon. The lads go in to the fixture full of confidence after last weeks 2-2 draw.

@GodwinLangat_ Honestly don’t know why he’s rated by so many. Average at best.

After last weeks 7-1 loss against Bibury, it was important for the Reserves to put in a strong performance against @AFCWorc
It was a busy afternoon for our keeper and CB’s with Worcesters direct style to their big target number 9.
Despite conceding to a long throw, we matched their physicality for the rest of the half and got the equaliser around half time, Matty Scott cushioning a header from a corner. 1-1.
Second half pretty much the same.
Worcesters second goal rebounded off a 🇳🇬 defender, while the ball was out of play! It was missed by the Ref and club Lino, play continued, with the attacker slotting it away 🙈 The lads didn’t give up and their persistence paid off with a lovely guided shot from Archie Hathaway into the top right! 2-2. This was how it finished.
Decent away result against against a difficult opponent who played well to their strengths and their home pitch!
Look forward to playing you back at the Burrows! 🇳🇬
