In Africa we emphasize on respecting our elders, but to be honest is there anything to respect about elders:
โข who plunder the continent's resources, selling them for peanuts, just so they can buy trinkets
โข who care more about power than their people
โข who refuse to give opportunities to the youth yet they're the future
โข who engage in moral decadence yet they're supposed to be role models
All fingers seemingly point at the youth for being unfocused, but the buffoonery starts with the elders
On a community and national level, the elders are supposed to lead by example
Example is the best lesson there is
Learn OR perish!!!
