20 years ago I lived in Paris. It was lovely but also clogged with polluting traffic. People thought I was mad for riding a bike, almost no one else did. Now it’s a normal thing to do. Air pollution, noise & traffic deaths have all plummeted. Took real leadership.
@alexbozikovic Shade, shade, shade-For five or six months of the year, many of these areas will be largely unusable for people, unless there’s some kind of shade element. More trees, canopies, sunscreen, elements, etc….These are critical components for spaces to be usable during sunny/hot days
