Nick Hooper was a teacher of History at BGS & then Head of History & stepped down after nearly 4 decades. He has since spent his time researching the BGS OB's that gave their lives in the Great War. A really interesting watch. #BGSfamily #Warmemories #BGS_OBs

Today marks 80 years since the Normandy landings of #WW2, (D-Day). Great bravery was shown by 1000s, many of whom were killed. This map from our archive show some of the operations that began the Allied victory in 1944- let us #reflect & #remember on this poignant day.
