Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Episode 13 “The Diary” hit different for me on the mental health side.

Rudy puts his pillars on people. When somebody like Sylphy gets pulled out of his life, that pillar goes with her and he crashes. He doesn’t really have a version of himself that’s solid just by himself.

I get the grief. That’s normal. What I clocked is the dependency on top of the grief.

Same thing with the bottle in that moment. Alcohol + a bad emotion doesn’t calm you down — it feeds it. I’ve had to walk away from a drink mid-conversation for that exact reason.

Lesson from this episode if you’re paying attention:
be careful where you put your pillars.
You need some that still stand when people leave, money hits zero, or the circumstance flips.

@bigbodybitch55 @Equilibrium_89 @ChampRDS Literally 3 fights after he got KO’ed the fighter(Ruffy) got put out cold as well and stayed for the announcement. Hell even 2 fights after Gable, Choi got KO’ed though not as badly as the other two and he stayed for the announcement as well.

Sabrina Ionescu didn’t just win the three-point contest.
She shattered the record books.

37 points.
Out of 40.
Missed only two shots.
All-time NBA + WNBA record.
Still standing. Untouched.

This wasn’t a performance.
This was a statement.

I don’t care what anyone says as to whether it should have happened but UFC250 Freedom was an absolute success. It looked amazing. The fights were great. Every single fight ended with a finish which doesn’t happen often and overall it just was an awesome event.

[K1ngserenade @Archlord248]

While I find it funny that it ended the way it did and Ilia definitely got a bit exposed when he doesn’t land the big shot in the 2nd or 3rd round, the fact that he just let Justin Gaethje become the champion is insane…

[K1ngserenade @Archlord248]

Gaethje is having a good first round but are we going to pretend like others don’t get the better of Topuria early and then he lands one bomb usually in the 2nd to change the fight. I do like the pressure from Ilia though towards the end of the round.Gaethje didn’t like it at all

[🎃✨America Is Musty✨🎃 @DragonflyJonez]

The disrespectful dunk with 4 seconds left. Boy I fuckin love it. Hate is back.

[K1ngserenade @Archlord248]

Think about the game SGA had and how close the game was. If he just played the game instead of taking these awful shots hoping to get the foul call he’s way more likely to score and potentially win the game.

[BrickCenter @BrickCenter_]

Refs aren't falling for SGA's flops 🙏

[K1ngserenade @Archlord248]

He was being carried the entire series and then has his best game in a loss… kind of tells you everything about the MVP doesn’t it…?

[Hoop Central @TheHoopCentral]

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tonight:

35 Points
9 Assists
4 Rebounds
3 Steals
1 Block
12/21 FGM
43 Minutes

Did all he could

[(redacted) @squish41]

SGA is unbelievable when he just cuts the shit and plays basketball. That’s the whole fucking problem with everything else.

[K1ngserenade @Archlord248]

The worst part is the pump fake worked exactly as intended… if he just set for a legitimate shot he’d have a wide open look. Thats why people hate SGA. He legitimately ONLY looks for the foul instead of just playing the game.

[Ballsack Sports @BallsackSports]

This is what angers NBA fans. There’s no consistency across the league.

[K1ngserenade @Archlord248]

She’s too adorable.

[K1ngserenade @Archlord248]

Seems to be the MO of the writers. Think about how they handled The Deep and Homelanders deaths. HomeLander offers gay sexual acts, and the Deep gets anally penetrated by an Octopus. The writers really seem to enjoy the sexual degradation of men.

[Harley knows you are lonely and so she @miss_ezeani]

This is one of those plots I thought the writers handled with levity.

When shows depict men’s sexual assault as “funny”, it leaves a poor taste. The shapeshifter copies everything from memory to mannerisms, so it was a spitting replica of Starlight. Its powers is literally becoming someone else, so forgive Hughie for not thinking Starlight is not Starlight.

Hughie got SA’ed multiple times and Starlight still got pissed at him; the victim… even though he somehow managed to figure it out last minute?? No props to that.

She just went “I forgive you”. Yeah, because it’s his fault he got SA’ed by a shapeshifting, memory copying supe.

And looking at the message audience got from that story; cue the quoted tweet, it just shows how poorly the writers handled the topic.

Because the NBA is trying to push “the next Jordan” with the frail lanky guard that mainly shoots mid range jumpers and is on -at the start of the push- the youngest team in the league in the NBA. They need their next dynasty with all the old stars on their way out (mainly LbJ)

Sometimes I wonder how is Ant not the NBA golden boy?

- Ethical hooper
- Physical freak
- Plays through injuries
- Electric personality
- American - won US Gold
- Came from nothing
- Making a small market team relevant

Am I missing something? He is everything you want in a star

[K1ngserenade @Archlord248]

The only thing is I would like to see Imavov vs Strickland again cause if Strickland wins the rematch with Khamzat is still there. If Imavov wins it’s 1-1 and people will want a 3rd fight but I think giving Khamzat the Imavov fight would be better and Strickland gets next

🚨 Khamzat Chimaev's brother says his body "shut down" during the weight cut for the Sean Strickland fight 😳

He says Khamzat originally had a deal in place to fight Jiri Prochazka at 205, but the UFC later called asking him to fight Strickland instead

According to him, Khamzat weighed as much as 231 lbs, and was still 214 lbs just two weeks before the fight

"There was a problem with the weight cut. The question became whether to cancel the fight or take the risk. When there was 1.2 kg left, his body shut down... Oxygen deprivation. His body malfunctioned.

We had to stop for an hour because his health wouldn't allow him to continue... Khamzat himself said he didn't know how he'd fight in that condition.

There was an agreement with the UFC that he would fight Jiri Prochazka at 205. The contract was already prepared, but then they asked him to fight Sean instead... so he accepted ands decided to cut from 105 kg [231 lbs] down to 84 kg [185 lbs].

By fight time he had only regained around 5-6 kg [11-13 lbs]... Two weeks before the fight he weighed 97 kg [214 lbs].

We've requested a rematch with Strickland. There's an event in Abu Dhabi in October and we want to do it there. Khamzat isn't the type of person to move to another weight class and leave unanswered questions behind. We want the second fight. Right now we have no other goals."

may have gotten tired regardless and maybe it plays out the same anyway. It don’t change this result and I think Khamzat has been very respectful and sportsmanlike to not downplay the loss. He just wanted another chance and he deserves it.

[K1ngserenade @Archlord248]

This is one of the few times I think then”excuse” is completely valid. And Khamzat did everything right trying to take the Jiri fight. Still making weight for this fight but not performing his best sucks.Whether it makes a diff, who knows since Strickland made him work in Rd1 he-

@TThetard @Quickdropd @ufc @Josh_HokitUFC @paramountplus You think Blaydes won the 1st where he was almost stopped and most of the damage in his face came from? Why because in the second half when Hokit was tired he landed some shots? He was never really damaging Hokit the way he was hurt in that round and damage is most important.

[K1ngserenade @Archlord248]

Wow Cub Swanson just had one of the greatest retirement fight performances you’ll ever see. Basically had the perfect walk off even if it took an extra second for the ref to stop it.

Inglourious Basterds contains two of the finest scenes Tarantino has ever directed, but the rest of the movie can't sustain the altitude those scenes reach.
