@reporterchris I mean... there's no rule that says you have to start a goalie right? You could just roll with 6 skaters all night, practice those end of game scenarios for 60 minutes. This is all loopholes and gamesmanship anyway.

@neverluckytc @JacketsInsider I'm always happy to be wrong, but if it is the goalie's glove that it touches instead of the stick, that was one very unhelpful glove. I can't every remember seeing a puck deflect so violently off a glove like that. I wonder what it actually hit in the glove that caused that.

@keepingkarlsson How I encourage opponents in my leagues to calculate auction value.

1. Pick a random number

2. Throw a dart at a list of players and assign that number to said player

3. If injured pay more

4. If really old pay more

5. If that player is retired, put on list to nominate.

@keepingkarlsson Data source is probably an issue. On Yahoo players have dashes (instead of 0s) until the play a shift. Probably because it's TOI based so it doesn't know if someone is "playing" or "scratched", just that they got 0 TOI. So backup goalies would be problematic.
