To do that in Europe will require a ”man on the moon commitment”. And building is the easy part. Where shall experienced crews come from?

@AkerArctic @a2NavArc The point with VIDAR VIKING at the North Pole is that it was assisted by both Russian nuclear icebreaker SOVIETSKIY SOYOUZ and the icebreaker ODEN. And it is up to to the assisting icebreakers to keep the assisted vessel safe. Which they did.

@AkerArctic For the Arctic, methanol could well be an attractive option? Can be made from natural gas, but also from other greener sources over time. It is a transitional fuel, ie not locked into only gas.20% lost in conversion fm gas, but easier to handle?
