@julianorobertrj @VindicatorAdel @FellowshipFans Olorin is Gandalf and there is no reason to keep the two seperate, as evidenced by Tolkiens words in that passage. He writes "Olorin (Gandalf)" befor going on to speak of how Olorin likely visited middle earth.
