@OP_senju And before you ask, (since this seems to be your follow up question): No, this would not make the lion turtles the first fire/air/water/earth benders. They never bent the element itself, just the energy of people, so they are not the “original source”
@OP_senju I always interpreted it as the lion turtles bent the energy within the human body (“In the era before the avatar, we bent not the elements but the energy within ourselves.”) while the ‘first benders’ were the first creatures/entities (moon and ocean) to bend the element itself.
@lsthison@VladTheInflator Again, the comparison of renting a space for a set amount of time versus the sovereignty of a nation (that has no set period of time) is where the analogy fails. That’s my whole point: a nation has no set end so it’s dumb to compare the two 😝 made a lot of maga mad with this one
@devjr77@VladTheInflator I agree, her line of questioning wasn’t quite the equivalent comparison she wanted it to be. We’re not renting out the country for a period of time and thus can exclude people from coming into the space until the rental period is over.
Such a silly comparison for her to make 🤪
@blckbrdquitter Agreed! Just don’t know why they removed the lip sync and/or how deaf people are supposed to see the hand motions when it pans to a character not actively singing? Like the scene “married in a hurricane” with the camera focused on Mirabel. Genuinely curious.
@hammer0036@MovieRoomHD Actually, I might be wrong. On the mannequin it only goes up to the naval, but in the shot where she has it on she’s zipped it up to just below the breast…
Dunno 🤷♀️ good question though.
@hammer0036@MovieRoomHD Haven’t seen the show personally, but from this clip it looks like the zipper only goes up to the naval area or just above it. After that there is no zipper. (Just an observation, like I said- haven’t seen the actual show, just the clip.)
