This Memorial Day, the Chicago Police Department honors the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage and selflessness will never be forgotten.
The Chicago Police Department marched on Michigan Avenue during the annual St. Jude Police Memorial March this morning in memory of all 608 officers who have died in the line of duty. Together with our Gold Star Families, we carry forward the legacies of our fallen.
The annual St. Jude Police Memorial March will be held on Sunday, May 3rd at 8:00 a.m.
We encourage members of the public to join us along the route to honor all 608 fallen Chicago Police Department officers and their families.
