Twitter spaces about Palestine are literally the modern version of "thoughts and prayers for [insert country]" posts on Facebook with a picture of [insert country] from 10 years ago.
🇵🇸 I have been pro-Palestine for as long as I can remember. We were punk rockers organizing rallies, concerts, and generally raising our voices, doing as much as we could in our little Balkan country.
That was almost 20 years ago.
Today, I look at the "community," and it makes me sad. Most of the pro-🇵🇸 westoids do not care about Palestine. They care about their online image, maintaining the illusion of helping, and preaching to others. X spaces do not help 🇵🇸. Supporting the Resistance helps Palestine.
