I’m worried about my boy. I have tears just thinking about losing him.
Yesterday was the first time he’s ever skipped a meal. He threw up a few days ago, and this morning, I found the remnants of another vomit pile.
We just celebrated four years together, and I’ve lost most of my rescues at the four-year mark. I told him that can’t happen with him.
With my Daisy, I noticed she skipped one meal and threw up twice. I took her to my vet for lab work and an ultrasound, and they found a splenic tumor. We did surgery, only to discover it had spread to her liver. She died in my arms, thrashing around on my living room floor just two weeks later. It was one of the most traumatic experiences I’ve ever had losing a dog.
Her name keeps coming up in recent days, and the number 411 keeps showing up several times a day. That’s the day I rescued Daisy.
She better not be coming to collect Blue. I cannot lose my boy. He is the last I have of Echo, the last I have of Wash. I need him. 🥺
I asked my vet if he can squeeze in an ultrasound on Tuesday. I even asked Blue if he’s going to be getting chemo like his brother, because I’ll do anything to keep him here.
I don’t post him often, and not everyone knows Farm Dog, but he is my heart and he is my whole world.
Please be okay, Blue dog. Your mama needs you and you are still my number one. ❤️
