If OVG really wanted to get rid of any lingering distrust with the Seattle fan base they would use their considerable influence to legalize sports betting in this state.
@Seattlelife@JoshShea40@SeattleCouncil Licatta admitted they were looking at other options in the Deadspin article. The second McGinn lost the city council started working to destroy SODO
As long as a team comes back I will be happy. I will always be irritated that this city bypassed a new arena and the way many people acted during this whole ordeal but just bring the fucking Sonics back!
@GeoffBakerTIMES Considering you once referred to an African American local sports personality as “The Help” maybe you aren’t the best person to write a story like this.
SODO is dead. I know some people are keeping hope alive but with OVG having control over new arenas in Seattle it’s not going to happen. All I am saying is their narrative is false and the only way it works is if Bonderman buys a team. Doesn’t seem like he’s too enthusiastic
A smaller arena just for basketball but OVG wants to convince people that owners want to be in a small arena in a three-way partnership. Give me a break.
Just a friendly reminder that this is the financial backer for @OvgSeattle...I’m sure Dolan will make sure decisions are made with the NBA fans best interests at heart as he does with his own team...
The Knicks and owner Jim Dolan were not prepared to offer Kevin Durant a full max contract due to concerns over his recovery from the Achilles injury, league sources tell me and @wojespn. Knicks officials are in Los Angeles tonight, meeting with free agents such as Julius Randle.
