@LittleN8mare Ares shakes her head with a small smile, and puts away her notebook. Another deep breath is taken in, and she waves goodbye before heading back to her car for the gas can.

Well. Here we go.

With a deep breath to brace herself, she approaches @LittleN8mare after, and gives her a formal bow. When she straightens, it's with a smile. Sure, she's not accustomed to making the expression, but it is something she's capable of, when inspired.

@LittleN8mare Then a notebook is produced. She writes the following:

[I could use your help. I'm a little lost, and my phone just died so it's no help. Where is the nearest gas station?]

Then she makes a small gesture to the car parked on the side of the road with a gas can on the trunk.

@LittleN8mare The silent woman holds up her index finger, then produces what looks like a business card. She offers it to the other woman.

On the front, it says: Hello, my name is Ares.

On the back: I am mute, but I'm fluent in English sign language. I can also read and write in English.
