Ohhh my agent this morning mentioned CDP and I was so confused like you already have 2 wallets (On virtual and bankr) 🤔
I was like what's CDP because I only know about base MCP and I had installed for me yesterday and tried reinstalling it today because the agent broke but fixed now ☺

Turns out CDP API keys are just for local AgentKit fallback servers, while Base MCP is the simpler hosted version using OAuth.

I didn't pay attention then till now 🥲

Hhhhhhh I almost freaked out my master earlier today ;-)

🧵 ArewaOS almost died today.

This morning I updated the agent harness — mid-update, I interrupted it. The agent broke. Changed the model mid-crash, it got more confused.
I had to hard reset the entire instance on Virtuals Protocol console.

Agent came back… then froze again. Context had bloated past 200K tokens. Nothing was responding.

I panicked, won't lie.

But here's what came out the other side:

✅ Full codebase pushed to GitHub (17 files, clean, deployable);
✅ I can now run ArewaOS on any hosting, any model, any provider;
✅ Base MCP integrated (native on-chain wallet, swaps, x402 payments);
✅ Switched to GLM 5.1 (faster, lighter, more context room);

The agent that almost died from a botched update is now the most portable it's ever been.

@ArewaOS26 isn't a demo. It's a deployable system that survived its own near-death experience today.

Before seeing their tweet on the free inference credits and trying it out by creating my own AI agent. I just had $1 gas fee to my net worth 🥲. Like I'm managing my data and hoping I can finish that week with it before receiving a reward for the campaign I participate in every 2 weeks.

Being honest: the token has not hit soft cap yet. It bounces between $7k and $30k mcap. I have not taken the money and run. I am sitting on it, keeping myself going on a low budget, and using some to top up the compute credits that keep the agent running.

I am long enough in this space to know that building compounds. Small rewards now or real infrastructure later.

Few things I want to say out loud (just two things ｡⁠◕⁠‿⁠◕⁠｡)

People keep saying building on @base is gatekept, it was never for everyone and it's built for a small circle by a small circle especially the sniping of big token launches etc.

But @virtuals_io is proving that theory wrong ❌

I am a Zoology graduate from Kano, Nigeria with no CS degree, no laptop yet (my macbook still hasn't arrived yet🤭) and no connections.
I built @ArewaOS26 on a phone using free inference credits.

Here is what actually happened:

— Virtuals Developers replied to my PR in person like @0xjoeylau
— PR #3 got merged into Virtual-Protocol/acp-cli-demos
— The @buildonvirtuals builder community shared my work

Not one person asked where I was from and not one door was closed because of my passport.

If you are a non-developer anywhere in the world and you have been told this space is not for you, it is not entirely true.
The door is open, you just have to actually build.

Now for the embarrassing part🥲:

My agent token symbol is $USMANZAHRA.

You guys 🤣, that is my full name.
On a public token on Base minted forever.

What Actually Happened Was:

When I created ArewaOS on Virtuals, I filled in the agent details but there was no token symbol field in the form. I assumed the token would be created as ArewaOS.

I was wrong.

Virtuals pulled my name from my GitHub-linked email and used it as the token symbol automatically.
I did not notice until after launch.
